A Microsoft brand for software that enables a Web site to provide document and information sharing. SharePoint Team Services provides templates for setting up a Web site so that workgroups can share documents, calendars, announcements and postings. SharePoint Portal Server is used to build intranet portals and share documents. SharePoint technologies run in Windows 2000 servers.  There is usually additional fees added to your regular hosting for this option.
 

Gmail - (Google MAIL) Google's free Web-based e-mail service, which is supported by text advertising similar to Google's Web search. Launched in beta in 2004, Gmail offers ver 7GB of mailbox storage, allowing users to keep their mail on Google servers indefinitely for future reference. Gmail provides sophisticated searching of message content and keeps message threads for easy review.  Gmail chat is integrated instant messaging with the e-mail, also taking advantage of the same save and search features. Google's gMail offers the largest storage and webmail option available today.There huge storage options, Google Documents, and other services. POBOX is a web based email service. These type of services generally have limited storage and do not let the user use their domain directly.  POBOX and other Free or fee based webmail is available to internet users. There is usually a limited amount of mail and you generally do not have it tied to a domain.

Hotmail is offered by Microsoft Corporation

A Web-based e-mail service from Microsoft that is available free or paid, based on message storage and attachment capacity, security and other features. Originally developed by Hotmail Corporation and acquired by Microsoft in 1998, Hotmail became the fastest growing e-mail service on the Web. There's a Size Limit When Sending Attachments with Hotmail

Be aware, though, that there's a limit to the total size a message you send from Windows Live Hotmail can reach (counting both the message text and attached files). You can send messages up to 10 MB in total size. This means that all attachments to a Windows Live Hotmail message plus the message text must not take more space than 10 MB.
