Dennis Devine, San Antonio, Florida, is a singer, musician, and teacher. He has played music since he was a "little bitty baby" and has spent his entire life playing Florida Folk Music and traditional music. He plays several instruments and has been involved in over 25 recording projects as a musician and co-producer.

He regularly plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, harmonica, pennywhistle, jawbone, and flute with several groups, and continues to study the rich history and performance of traditional acoustic music. He played for many years as a one-man band but he had to fire his drummer, as he couldn't keep up.

He has been a member of  St Pete Sea Shanties,  The 97th Regimental String Band, a Civil  War string band that performs at Civil War reenactments and theme parks throughout the United States and the south. Dennis also played with a gypsy jazz band Gadjo and recorded one album with them. He created The Singing  Water album with Janet Kato and he has performed and recorded with several notable Florida folk legends including Will McLean, Don Grooms, Jeanie Fitchen, Mary Ann DiNella, and Cousin Thelma Boltin (storyteller), and played with folk groups Crystal Beach String Band, New Sand Mountain Wildcats, and Southwind.

Dennis has taught in numerous music workshops on various instruments and has helped organize and produce many recordings for musical groups and individual artists. He is also a festival promoter and organizer, having worked with the Pioneer Florida Museum, Pasco County Fair at Heart of Florida Folk Festival, WillMclean Festival, and the San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival. Dennis has helped create and maintain websites for Friends of Florida Folk, WillMclean.com, Pioneer Florida Museum, and other artists and organizations. Recently, Dennis has become a board member of the Florida Old Time Music Championship, which hosts and maintains the traditions of old-time music.

Dennis enjoys the “unplugged” and natural music created by playing acoustic instruments. He performs and sings with the least amount of electronic alteration possible. He continues to study the folk music of Florida, Irish Music, Civil War music, and music of the 17th and 18th centuries. Performed all his music on acoustic instruments as they were originally created and performed.

Dennis has performed throughout the United States, playing at major festivals and theme parks throughout the South. Some of his performances include locations like Epcot Disney World, Florida Folk Festival, Spirit of the Suwanee Festival, Wings and Strings, St Petersburg Mainsail Festival, St Petersburg First Night, Stone Mountain Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia, and the National Civil War Museum, Fort Dodge, Fresno, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
